Nagios Summaries not respecting scheduled downtime

We've noted at least two places so far that aren't respecting scheduled downtime.
Both the Host Status Summary and the Availability Report will still count hosts that are in scheduled downtime.
We are using the OVA image running Nagios XI 5.6.6 currently.
I did a quick check through change logs to see if an upgrade would fix this but I didn't note this particular issue in later releases.

In the reporting options there is an Advanced drop down. Here you can select "Hide Scheduled Downtime". Have you tried using this option?

Yes. We tried this on the availability report. All hosts at a specific time were good or in downtime and the report was run, but still showed a percentage of hosts down. Also, that won't help with the Host Status Summary and Service Status Summary widgets found on multiple pages in Nagios.

Could you please provide a list of steps you took so we can try and replicate in house?

Running 5.6.6
Not much to go on, but have a number of hosts. I had < 20 hosts listed in a down state, some already marked in scheduled downtime, some not.
I marked the rest in scheduled downtime for ~15 minutes (to test this theory) and noted the start and stop time.
I allowed a few minutes to pass and then checked both the home page and the Availability Report.
I set the availability report's time constraints to only capture data within that 15 minute window (a couple minutes after it started until a minute before it ended).
Both the availability report and the home screen widgets were still indicating there were down hosts despite all hosts either being up or being in scheduled downtime at this point.

Scheduling downtime simply disables notifications for when a host is down so still seeing a down status in the widgets is expected.
The reports though sound off. Can you provide a screenshot of the report you are running, the results, and the settings? The report is generated from text files found in /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.log and /usr/local/nagios/var/archives/. If you can PM me these files as well as details on the report you're running(hosts, services, date range), we can take a closer look.
