Keep state up (green) when scheduled downtime

Post by reidara »

Hi

Is it possible to have a host ( and services monitored on host ) in an up state (green) and not in critical state when using scheduled downtime or something else that is simple to manage.

Think of a situation when you have a people responding to alert lights and act upon that in nagios.

This is not possible but if you have the team look at unhandled problem instead of all problems they would not appear, such as:
Open Service Problems
Open Host Problems

These do not show issues where the host/service is in downtime or acknowledged
