Nagios Support Forum

Hi!

I have a group of XenServers that are monitored by Nagios Core running inside CentosOS VM. After recent upgrade to Citrix Hypervisor 8.0 and adding those hosts back to Nagios all checks are working fine but one - "Free Memory" check returns UNKNOWN Status - "Unexpected Exception [ Failure() hostname:<enter IP address of host here>". I'm not sure how to fix this issue - if anyone could help me/point me towards any documentation that could help me fix this error that would be much appreciated

What does the command for this service check look like? I would first try to run it directly on the Linux command line where there may be an option to get more debug information.
