I found this forum post, and this person used the check_snmp plugin for monitoring Sangoma Vega Gateway. That might be a good approach.

Hi Jennifer,
Are you using Naigos Core or the free version of Nagios XI? For Core, please follow the document below to setup monitoring with SNMP and post any specific error messages if you have trouble.
