Nagios is not sending email notification

Hi,
In Nagios dashboard I could see a service in warning state but I am not receiving any mail alert from past 20 days.
I could see the below in system logs :
May 2 13:51:20 ip-172-16-161-25 nagios: SERVICE NOTIFICATION: nagiosadmin;91d-prod-crl1;Root / Partition;WARNING;notify-service-by-email;DISK WARNING - freespace: / 12766 MB (24.94% inode=100%):
May 2 13:51:20 ip-172-16-161-25 nagios: job 99 (pid=3385): read() returned error 11
Kindly assist.
