Freshness problems with different timezone installations

I have a nagios core server with nrdp installed and everything works great but when I activate the freshness all the time the error stale comes out. I have installations in different countries and with different time zone. I think the problem must be that, but how could I trick the nagios to understand that are real notifications and in real time the passive notifications from other countries. Is there any way to have passive checks with the freshness check in different timezones?
