Migrating servers from HPOM to NagiosXI (ncpa agent)

Post by gary80918 »

We recently obtained our licenses for NagiosXI and are ready to migrate a large number of servers (6000'ish) from HP Operations Manager to Nagios. Our intent is to use the ncpa agent as we have Red Hat Linux, SunOS, Windows and a few AIX servers.

Due to the large number of servers we have, using a gui is just not practical. Is there a CLI I can use, basically feed it a csv in a specific format, maybe specified arguments that will add servers to Nagios XI at that manager level?

Any help, direction, advice on this project would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Gary

Hi Gary!

Although this is not currently a feature of Nagios XI, we will be adding Ansible deployment for NCPA when we release 5.7 early this summer.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
