is there a way to gather information on the overall performance data for hosts for a period of time?

You can use Home > Performance Graphs to show that.

You could also use Home > Graph Explorer to build graphs as well.

Will either of those meet your needs?

thanks, i can only get it in graphs? if so can this data be pushed to a 3rd party? For example, every time a server is pulled for performance data, that data will be sent out to a more extensive database for analysis

Yes, the performance data could be pushed to a 3rd party software for viewing/analysis. We don't have guides/tutorials on the topic with the exception of the Nagios XI/Graphana integration KB article here:

https://support.nagios.com/kb/article/n ... a-805.html

Having said that, it's possible to use other 3rd party software solutions that can import RRD files from XI. This is not going to be a supported solution (you would be on your own with configuring it and troubleshooting it), but it is doable.
