Exchange issues, might be with client

Post by benningtonr »

I have gone through the wizard, installed the client, and set the IP and password to monitor my exchange 2007 server. I have critical for 5 different items.
Is there another step that needs to be accomplished?

Can you verify the NSClient++ service on the client is running.

Also, make sure you don't have any firewall between the two blocking port 12489

ok, the service was not started, that fixed a couple but the core and https and blacklist are still criticals.
I added the exchange server again and now I have two instances of exchange, i have tried to delete one of them but I cannot .

The default for the blacklists may have some servers that are no longer in service, you may need to trin that list to only use blacklists you want to check.

https will error if you do not have https setup or do not have a valid certificate

As for deleting a host, you will need to delete ALL of the services for that host first, once all of the services have been removed you can delete the host.
