Hi,

To add a point, in our environment we have 650+ hosts and 7000+ services in monitoring.

We usually recommend a backup and restore to migrate servers. Please refer to our documentation for detailed instructions on how to do this.

BACKUP AND RESTORE DOCUMENT

Before you get started, you may want to know that the migration should be done between two servers running the same version of Nagios XI. This means that you will either have to upgrade your current server to the latest version before you start the backup and restore, or install the same version of Nagios XI on your new server as you had running on the last one.

UPGRADE NAGIOS XI
