We have our users into different contact groups based on their on-call group.
Each contact group is set to a contact for the hosts they are in charge of.
I would like the user to be able to see all checks for their hosts, but not all hosts, regardless of if they are owner of that specific check or not. Currently, they only see the checks related to the services they are a contact for, not all services on that host.

We are on Nagios XI 5.6.10 on RHEL 7 VMs.

You would need to add the contact to the host, if the contact is on the host it will be able to see all of the services under that host. That would be the only way you could do that.
