Hi all!

I manage a Nagios XI installation that uses MySQL 5.7 and we are planning to migrate it to a new environment with newer OS and MySQL versions.

I would like to know if Nagios XI is fully compatible with MySQL 8. Has any of you information about this? I tried to find official documentation, but I didn't have good luck.

Thanks in advance.

BR,
Juanma.

Hi Jaunma,

Nagios XI will support any MySQL version below 10.x. Also, please note that as of 5.7.5 STRICT_TRANS_TABLES mode is enabled by default. This should be disabled and we have a knowledgebase article on how to do this.

Nagios XI - STRICT_TRANS_TABLES

I hope that helps answer your question, let me know if you need help with anything else.

Benjamin
