Host in pending on both NagiosXI 5.6.14 and 5.7.1

Hi Folks,
Really weird issue that I am at a loss to figure out. Have Prod (5.6.14) and DEV NagiosXI (it was on 5.7 until this morning and after the issue occurred & I upgraded to 5.7.1 to see would it fix)
Successfully on-boarded x4 passvice ncpa Windows servers today and made no changes to NagioXI on either Prod or Dev so all was well as of 4 hours ago.
Tried adding 2 Centos 7 servers using NCPA passive and both servers show up in "unconfigured objects" as normal but once I add them in, they never move past "pending". Normally I do a restart of the passive agent just so I can confirm all is green and move on but no amount of restarts fixes it.
I have deleted the hosts and gone through the "unconfgured objects" routine several times and still "pending". It is the same on both Prod and DEV and as mentioned earlier, upgrading Dev from 5.7 to 5.7.1 made no difference (we were not affected by the pending issue other users posted about by the way I just did the upgrade after seeing similar posts but I think mine is a different issue)
I can only imagine that there is something different about the 2 Centos servers but I can't see what. We have copied the ncpa.cfg and nrdp.cfg from another centos servert that works fine and still same problem. Using same configs on a Red Hat server works fine so does not seem to be the config.
I can PM somebody the System profile and the passive agent debug log files if needs be?
