Inbound Mail Not Working

Hello all,

I have configured the inbound mail settings and the connection tested successfully but when I send an email to acknowledge an alert, it is never processed. I am running Nagios 5.7.1 and using an Office 365 mailbox (IMAP). I have the enable incoming email processing checked. I am not getting an error message back when sending the email. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

If the Nagios server cannot connect to the Office 365 account to retrieve the inbound emails, it should be logged in the following log file.

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagiosxi/var/cleaner.log
Take a look at it and if there are any errors, resolve them if possible.

Also, login to the Office365 email account and see if there are any security settings that need to be changed to allow the Nagios server to connect to it.
