NagiosXI install

I am getting ready to install NagiosXI for our first production installation. Just wondering if I should go with the latest stable release or the latest development release?
Can someone explain the difference?

I would recommend the latest stable release (2011R2.4). I wouldn't use the latest development release in production settings. Here's our main Nagios XI download page:
