Hello
@ssirnagiosadmin!
Welcome to the Nagios Support forum.
It appears that check has timed out. However, there can be many reasons that a check will time out.First we will need to know what check
Nagios is trying to execute. Navigate to the
Configure section using the bar on top > click
Core Config Manager under
Advanced Configuration on the left pane > then click
Services under
Monitoring on the left > then click on the service specified in the notifications > and let us know what command is specified in the
Command view part of the
Service Management page under the
Common Settings tab.
To help troubleshoot, you can also directly test the service check from the command line, to see if you get the same behavior. We have instructions on this procedure below. Please post the output for us to review.
TEST CHECK COMMANDS FROM TERMINAL
You may want to
acknowledge the notifications so that you do not continue to get so many. Click on
Mass Acknowledge under
Incident Management on the home page.
CONFIGURING NOTIFICATIONS
It never hurts to send (
PM ) us a profile either! We can find lots of information about your system in there. You can download the profile by navigating to
System Profile under
System Config on the left pane > and clicking the
Download Profile button on that page.
