trying to delete a list of items added during a auto-discovery

You must delete the services before you can delete the hosts

deleting the services would not effect other hosts ? can you explain to a newbie how to do that ?

If you have a service assigned to multiple hosts, then you would need to just remove the host you want to delete from the service
