Hello,

I must admit that i'm a new to linux, so with that out of the way.

NagiosXI
CentOS 6.2 final
VMWare VM
linux kernel 2.6.32

for some reason, I no longer can access my nagios XI server via SSH. I get this error from putty: Network error: software caused connection abort.

I can ping the server and I have access to the console. is there anything I can check to resolve this issue

If you don't have a console hooked up to this machine, the only thing you can do is forcibly restart the machine (ie. pull the plug) and hope ssh starts correctly at boot.
