Moving NagiosXI file directories
Posted: Mon Jul 20, 2020 3:06 am
Hello,
We have installed Nagios XI under default directories (/usr/local/...) and our customer's organization does not allow applications under root directories. What we are thinking as a solution, is to stop nagios service, create a virtual volume, and create below paths inside it:
o /usr/local/nagios
o /usr/local/nsis
o /usr/local/nagiosxi
o /usr/local/nagiosmobile
o /usr/local/nagvis
o /usr/local/nrdp
o /store
After creating the volume, move all existing files in correspond directories and start the service.
Would that be an appropriate solution to our problem? Would there be any problem with our existing application?
Thanks.
