Not Receiving Nagios Alerts

Hi Team,
We have added respective mail ID's to where nagios alerts should be sent.
However it is seen that none of the Mail Id's are receiving Nagios Alerts.
Kindly let us know the reason behind this and solution for this.

An
alert will not necessarily generate a
notification in Nagios. I encourage you to double check the notification preferences and alert settings for the user and contact you are having trouble with, then run a
test of the notification you are having trouble with. Please refer to the following document for more detailed instructions on how to configure
users and
contacts to receive
notifications and
alerts, and the distinctions between those things.
Notifications in Nagios XI
If you click on your name in the top right of
XI > click
Notification Preferences under
Notification Options > what do you see? Is
Enable notifications checked? What is checked under the
Email tab? Click
Send Test Notifications under
Notification Options to send a test.
