Nagios Status duration messages add 4 hours to report

We have a little nagios bug we want to fix before preparing our systems for RHEL8.
In our current form when we get a message indicating an error seem to add 4 hours to something.
Example:
Host service status duration attempt last check status info
XXXX SSH warning 04h 2m 0s 3/3 2020-08-13 13:17:41 NOT CONNECTED
This should read as
XXXX SSH warning 0h 2m 0s 3/3 2020-08-13 13:17:41 NOT CONNECTED
Is this an issue with the current snmp scripts or so and if so could we know what the fix is?
Keep in mind we use snmp for most connections to monitor systems
