How to monitor hard disk health on HP and Dell server via nagios XI?

I would recommend that you look for a suitable plugin on the Nagios Exchange. There are some 3rd party plugins on the Exchange that utilize SMART to monitor disk health.

Once you tested your plugin from the command line and made sure it works, you could add a new command and a service to Nagios XI. Please, review our documentation on the topic here:
