Notification Interval being ignored

VMWare Image - Nagios XI 2011R2.1
I have a contact setup just receiving warnings and recoveries (sysadmins).
It is the only member of the systems contact group. The contact sysadmins is not a member of any other contact group.
I have a service escalation only for Warnings, which this group is the only member of.
The contact's service command is xi_service_command_handler.
The Warning service escalation has the following settings:
First Notification - 1
Last Notification - 0
Notification Interval - 360
The only member of this escalation is the systems contact group. The systems contact group doesn't below to any other escalations.
The service that is generating the warnings, has the following settings based off of a custom Service Template:
Max Check attempts: 3
Retry Interval: 3 min
Check interval: 10 min
Alert settings:
Notification period: 24x7
Notification interval: (blank)
Based on the above configuration I would assume that I would get an email every 360 minutes, as the service is generating a warning. However I am getting an alert every 30 minutes, which is confirmed by looking at the service Notifications, and my Inbox.
Reason - Service Problem, State - WARNING, Contact - sysadmins, Dispatcher - Nagios XI
Not sure if I need to install the new release first?
