Has anyone noticed a small white square box on their Hypermap? I can drag the map around to avoid it, but was wondering if this had been noticed.
See attached graphic screen shot.

Hi Stev B,
Trying to replicate this on our end, are you accessing the main Hypermap page, Home > Maps > Hypermap? Or have you created your own dashboard and the added the hypermap dashlet to this dashboard?
Lastly, which browser are you using and what version of the Hypermap component is installed? The latest is 1.2.1. You can check the version by going to Admin > System Extensions > Manage Components.
Thanks, Benjamin

I am running the latest version of Nagios XI. 5.7.2 and all that comes with it. Hypermap is 1.2.1
To experience the small white square, I dis as you asked, Home menu, Maps, Hypermap.
Once the data paints, if you drag the map you can notice the anomaly.
As for a browser, I only use Chrome. I used Chrome to zoom the page to 125% and still saw the box.
I suspect it is an empty text box set to be in front of the graphic. Like the other text that stays in front of the graphical data. I think the text box may just contain a blank space. That is my guess.
Thanks
Steve B

The small square box is the "message" box that shows messages like the "centering on <host>" message when you click on a host. I filed an internal bug report on that (task_id=15325). Thanks for reporting this issue!

It's such a small issue - But, as a Monitoring professional - when I see something I say something.
Thanks for finding it.
