Ubintu 18.04/Nagios Core 4.4.6 - running, but no lock file

New installation from sOurce on Ubuntu 18.04.5 with Kernel 5.4.0 on VMWare-VM (--with-lockfile submitted).
Tried different lock-locations in nagios.cfg - no luck.
There are no errors at all. Nagios is running perfectly, but no lock-file is created (need it for NagiosQL).

Any idea?
