Hi Team,

Some of the services keep flapping between check_http: Invalid hostname/address and OK state.

They later get fixed by themselves.

Can you please suggest what is causing this unknown error and what can be done to fix this?

It is not a genuine alert because when we manually check the website or the host they are up and running as expected.

Is it possible that you're having DNS problems?

Are the hosts in question on your own network, or are they some of the outside hosts you're monitoring?
