Is CPU utilization for the Active Supervisor module the metric needing monitoring or do you need to monitor the CPU utilization on the Ethernet modules also?

Since CPU spikes are normal on these kinds of devices, another option would be to monitor the average CPU loads.

It looks like most iOS devices will provide consolidated stats for CPU usage.
