Hi ,

While executing the script in one of the client machine(this is a linux server) we are getting the following error

/usr/local/nagios/bin/send_nsca -H aeamon01.ce.corp -c /usr/local/nagios/etc/send_nsca.cfg -p 5667
Connection refused by host
Error: Could not connect to host aeamon01.ce.corp on port 5667

aeamon01 is our nagios server.

What could be the reason?

Hi Rahul,

Have check the firewall settings on both sides? Also, you might try using the IP address instead of the hostname to rule out any DNS issues here.
