CRITICAL: Host disconnected! [Host_CPU_Usage]

Hi Team,

We have configured ESXi server monitoring using "Vmware virtualization wizard" in Nagios XI. We can see the host status is UP in nagios but for the services we are getting error as below:

CRITICAL: Host disconnected! [Host_CPU_Usage]
CRITICAL: Host disconnected! [Host_Memory_Usage]

Could you please help us to resolve it?

Nagios XI version - 5.7.3

I'd like to get a profile from the XI server which can be generated under Admin > System Config > System Profile > Download Profile, or from the command line with:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/components/getprofile.sh 60477
The profile is then saved to /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/components/profile.zip. Send it to me in a private message.

Thanks for that. It looks like you're executing the box293_check_vmware plugin via the check_by_ssh command. I sent you instructions on how to run the box293_check_vmware command directly on the server. This will help us determine where exactly the error is originating from and focus our efforts.
