Hi Team,

We are not able to see the nrdp folder in below path which is causing failure of Nagios XI upgrade from 5.6.14 to 5.7.4 version.
Could you please suggest how we can get this directory and its sub content back in server to proceed with nagios XI upgrade.

[root@EU2NAPU004 local]# ls
bin etc games include lib lib64 libexec nagios nagiosmobile nagiosxi nagvis nrdp nsis sbin share src
[root@EU2NAPU004 local]# pwd
/usr/local
[root@EU2NAPU004 local]#

We can see nrdp folder structure of other Nagios XI server. Please check and update us on next steps to fix it.

Thanks
Nitin Parate

The server on which nrdp directory is missing.

[root@eu1papu002 local]# ls
bin etc games include lib lib64 libexec nagios nagiosmobile nagiosxi nagvis nsis sbin share src
You have mail in /var/spool/mail/root
[root@eu1papu002 local]# pwd
/usr/local
[root@eu1papu002 local]#

Hi,

The upgrade script basically re-installs the whole directory but it does expect the configuration file to be there so it does make any changes to that.

The best option here is to get the NRDP folder contents from a backup archive, unpack it and copy over to that directory and then run the upgrade. Do you have scheduled backups configured on this server?

Let me know.
