Case sensitive API calls

Hello,
Our Dev team has reported that after updating to 5.7.4 API calls now seem to be case sensitive when it comes to host names. More specifically the API call will only work if the host name is entered in all lowercase. Has this already been reported?

Hi,
Changes were made in 5.7.x to the API to convert directly from a data array to JSON, but as far as they case changes, let me get some more details from the team on this and I will follow up with you shortly.
Regards,
Benjamin

Hi,
Thanks for checking in. It turns out this is a bug in the API, and will be corrected in the next release, 5.8 (coming soon).
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for the clarification. Is there an ETA for 5.8? We are trying to decide whether to roll back to a previous version or wait for the update. Turns out the API calls are still not working even when we match case sensitivity.

Hi,
Is there an ETA for 5.8?
I don't have a hard release date right now, but it's very close (likely within the next 3-4 weeks).
Hope the helps you out.
