Scheduled reports from dashboards dont fit in PDF page

Hi there !

I scheduled a PDF report from an existing dashboard.
Using the "schedule page" item in the hamburger menu works as expected : I receive an email with PDF at scheduled time.

But the generated PDF is always portrait-oriented so it may not fit the dashboard page organisation.
Dashboarrd pages are cut if it does not fit in the PDF page.
I can of course put only one graph per line in my dashboard and ensure that it will fit the PDF format, but I'd like to export the dashboard as it exists for the real-time view.

Is there a way to change the PDF orientation to landscape for selected pages/reports ?
Or just export the fullscreen dashboard image itself ?
Thank you.

This is definitely something that has come up before and a feature request has been submitted. Right now, there isn't the option to set this as landscape.

The best workarounds I can think of would be to space out the dashlets like you mentioned or print to pdf via using Chrome.

We are planning to move away from the current library the generates these PDF's in XI 6, so there's definitely more flexibility on the way.

Hello Benjamin,

Printing via using Chrome is not an option as I need the report to be scheduled.
But I'll rework the dashboard to fit the page.

Thank you for your answer.
I'm now waiting the XI 6 version ith impatience :D
