I have an issue with some of the user receiving an email by localhost name called [email protected] , but we already configured a public dns name that need to be sent notification via SMTP .

How can we avoid by sending via [email protected], because of that email are rejection from the destination email server as mentioned below.

676 Sat Dec 13 23:39:32 [email protected]
(delivery temporarily suspended: host mail2.abd.com[212.19.190.68] refused to talk to me: 554 5.7.1 Delivery not authorized - No Reverse DNS record exist for you)
[email protected]

What do the settings under Admin > System Config > Email Settings look like? Make sure the 'send from' field has a valid email address.
