Hi, https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... es#p261510 old thread about missing API for downtime information and below moderator mentions he will add feature request. Has this been implemented ?
I also read someone else tried the same https://stackoverflow.com/questions/597 ... ainst-a-pa - but that does not work for me. How can I read host downtime status with command line ?

Looks like that was submitted as a feature request sometime in 2011, and again in 2015.

I've +1-ed and escalated the task in our system. Hopefully that will get it some attention.

Almost all new things get mentioned on the Nagios change log. If it's implemented, it'll show up there first.

It'll also show up in the online help system built into Nagios XI if you go to Help => System Reference.
