Hello Team,
Can we monitor DNS zone using Nagios XI?
We had an incident that DNS “zone not loaded by DNS server”. We want to avoid such issues. Could you please help us on the same?
Thanks in advance!!

I did a search for the message and found this:
https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Fo ... inserverDS
Assuming you're seeing this message in MS event logs, you could use NCPA to look for them. The NCPA client would be installed on the Windows machine and would check the event logs and report results to XI:

https://www.nagios.org/ncpa/help.php#api-modules-logs
NCPA can also be configured to work in a passive mode:

Hello,
As suggested by you, we can monitor the logs. But, how we can avoid this issue?
Is there anything specific that causes the zone not getting loaded by DNS server and we can monitor it before the issue occurs?
Could you please suggest!!

The links @cdienger send give you multiple things to look for, you will need to investigate your DNS server to figure it out or reach out to MS support/your DNS admins in order to determine why it's happening and then determine if it's something you can monitor for. We don't know this or support the underlying products that our systems monitor.
Thank you!
