Hi

We are deploying NAgios XI to a large intranet.
The customer has a requirement that all components are supported and they've raised a question around MariaDB support.

Does Nagios include support for MariaDB in its support for NagiosXI? Other vendors which bundle a DB usually do but would like to verify.

Otherwise do we need to buy MariaDB support from some other vendor and if so, are there any recommendations?

HI George,

Good question. We support the database as installed and used by Nagios XI, that includes local or offloaded environments. One thing to point out, we would not support customizations such as a MariaDB cluster or HA setup.
