Not Receiving SMTP Text Messages from one Nagios Contact

Hi,
I have been administering a Nagios Core 4.x server for > 12 years. First of all - thank you Nagios - This has helped keep me employed for a long time.
2 weeks ago I got a new iPhone 12 Pro. I realized a couple of days ago that I am not receiving alerts sent to a particular distribution list on our Email system, and Murphy's Law makes it he "Critical" DL. If I send a telnet generated message from the Nagios server to our email provider it works beautifully. However, as soon as I use Nagios to send a Custom Notification, or if there is an actual alert, I do not get them.
I have not changed anything in the Contacts, Templates, nor Commands files in weeks. Its not a change that is causing this. Other older iPhone phone users are still getting these alerts NP. I can anticipate what you will say - it must be my new iPhone. I did search and there is a large amount of complaining going on with this issue in Apple forums. I called my carrier I am getting a replacement phone tomorrow. I just have a gut feeling its not the phone.
I can't help but think that there is some problem with Nagios Core setup and changing protocols. I haven't had to update anything in years, and the tech world is going by fast. Could it be a cipher issue? My thinking is that there is some newer protocol or protection app cutting these off. I am just throwing spaghetti against he wall - seeing what might stick.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance - much appreciated. As you can imagine - the poor guy having to cover for me this week isn't happy. Neither will I be when I have at least two weeks in a row coming back at me...
