Hello Support,

We are running seven Nagios XI Enterprise versions with v5.6.4 on all of them and we want them to upgrade to v5.8.0/v5.8.1. Can we directly jump from v5.6.4 to v5.8.0/5.8.1? All of these servers are installed from the OVA provided by Nagios. Could you please guide us how we should go about this upgrade? will there be any compatibility issues post restoring the backup to new version system? and what OS version the new v5.8.0/5.8.1 comes with?

The simplest solution is probably to deploy the appropriate OVA file from our VMWare image download page, then export the configuration from the old machine, and import them into the new one.
