The Deploy Agent function in an Offline environment

Hello Support,

I just started looking into the NCPA Agent Deployment feature prior to us doing a large scale Nagios XI install and was disappointed to see that one of the requirements is that all target systems must have internet access to download the agent code.

We are in an "Offline" environment where none of our systems have internet access, but of course I have downloaded the NCPA agent install packages and have them both on the XI server and on a wide open network share.

I imagine that there are many Nagios customers that have a portion of their servers that do not have open access to the internet for downloading software, but even for the ones that do the link to the internet is often more slow (and costly) than an internal network, so I think it would make sense to maintain a repository of NCPA install packages from one download and then transfer them internally (ssh, nfs, etc...) as part of the auto deployment. In our case we would need to manually populate that repository but that is a simple matter. IBM for example supports this type of configuration with their IBM Installation Manager tools.

So I would like to ask that you create a feature request to add support for offline (ie: no internet access) environments to be able to use the Agent Deployment feature in XI.

Thank you.
-Scott
