We have a host record in our system that is showing service monitoring for a drive that doesn't exist:

UNKNOWN: The node (D:/) requested does not exist.

The service has been removed from the host record in the CCM and is not listed there. We have deleted the host record from the system and re-added without the D: drive service monitoring but the host still shows the service with the unknown message. If we try to delete or re-configure the service we receive a message that the service needs to be managed from the CCM. Is there a config file that is holding the configuration for this host that is displaying the incorrect service?

Well, that is odd. It should be removed if you deleted it from the CCM. Just to confirm, did you apply configuration after deleting the service, and did it complete without errors?


Try running the following steps. Please go to Configure > Core Config Manager > Tools > Config File Management:

1. Click the Delete Files button (don't worry, it's safe, they will be rewritten)
2. Then click the Write Configs button
3. Verify ( if there's an error follow the message to correct and repeat steps 1-3)
4. Restart Core.

Then check the service page again and let me know if the issue is resolved. If not send over the system profile and the exact name of the host and service and we'll review the configurations.

Click the "Admin" > "System Profile" Menu
Click the "Download Profile" button
