Error: No output from backend!

Hi Team,

we are unable to see status of hosts & services in Nagios Xi , its showing all Zeros.
And when we checked the monitoring engine status its showing Error: No output from backend! under Monitoring Engine Event Queue.

Please suggest on this issue.

You could be hitting a bug depending on what XI version you're running.

Please PM me a copy of your profile.zip, you can download it from Admin > System Profile by clicking the Download Profile button.

You have crashed database tables:

Please repair them:

Then apply configuration and validate.

Hi Ssax ,

Thanks for your Suggestion, it's worked.

Issue got fixed after executed the command - /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/repair_databases.sh

Actually , i have upgraded the Nagios version from 5.7.4 to latest 5.8.2 as a part of troubleshooting, can i revert back to old one or keep the current one.

And one more issue is showing "Update check failed. " at the admin page even after Nagios version upgraded (it showed the same before Upgradation also , hence upgraded to latest one). Latest Version Upgradation is not showing in UPDATE HISTORY.

Can i revert back to old one or keep the current one?
I would stay on XI 5.8.2.

Did you upgrade through the web interface or from the command line?

What does this output from the CLI of the XI server?

Do you need to set a proxy in Admin > Proxy Configuration?

Upgraded through CLI only.

curl -k -L -v 'https://api.nagios.com/' - PM Sent to you.

Do you need to set a proxy in Admin > Proxy Configuration? - - what it would be , if we set proxy in admin.

CLI upgrades do not show in the web interface.
