Nagios Core to Nagios XI Migration

Hi All,
I am using Nagios Core and planning to migrate standalone Nagios XI server. Any one have idea to share the steps .I will be thankful. Please share steps and precaution on mail id [email protected]. i have more than 17000 services and 1600 remote devices. i have confusion about transferring configuration file,users and other Nagios core settings to Nagios XI.

Some good news here, starting in version 5.8.x, Nagios XI now has an automatic migration feature built-in that will pull in the configurations from the Core server.

After pulling the configs, there maybe some plugins that require additional software to be installed on the Nagios XI server. Check the incoming status results for any errors. I would set up a test server running Nagios XI and switch over once you are ready to go.

Otherwise, you can use the older manual process. It's not very difficult. You'll run a prep tool first to make the core configurations XI compliant and then import them in a specific order. We have a guide on that process as well.
