Adding year details to timestamp

Hi,
please let me know where is the format of the alert defined. Currently the alert timestamp is like MM DD hh:mm:ss, there is no year can we add the year with time.
Jun 19 09:46:52 10.203.75.186 [user.info] nagios: SERVICE NOTIFICATION: scm-unixadmins;scmibm01;Unix_Total_Process;CRITICAL;notify-service-by-email;PROCS CRITICAL: 500 processes
please assist we have nagios 2.9 and nagios core.
