I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I haven't found an obvious answer yet How does one create a Report in Nagios Log server similar to something like the Unique Hosts report? Do you convert a query or Dashboard into a report? I've found a doc on schedule reports but not creating one.

You haven't missed anything actually. Only the predefined reports are available in NLS.

Are there any plans to add a custom report feature in the future? Is there any way to email a snapshot of a dashboard or schedule an export of a dashboard?

Feature requests exist for improving/adding reports but this would be done at the discretion of our dev team and we don't' have an eta.
