Greetings,
we are evaluating Nagios XI as a monitoring server and we are wondering if it's possible to use Nagios XI as a TFTP server for backing up switch configurations and as a Syslog server to collect logs from certain appliances.

I've found some mentions about Syslog server capabilities, but can't find any documentation about it.

Neither of those are currently a part of the Nagios XI feature set.

For syslog server capabilities you would use Nagios Log Server:

We don't currently have a product that does network device configuration backups.
