Hello Support,

I'm in trial version of Nagios XI. We implement Passive monitoring Check using NRDS agent in our remote host.
It's work properly.

1***We are faced with a dilemma, how to receive alerts ? when NRDS agents are no longer reachable or the agent itself cannot reach the Nagios XI server.

2***I have found in configuration Wizard "Bulk Host Cloning and Import", Is it possible to use this method to duplicate the configuration of a Host (passive check)? When I tested, I was stuck on pending.

3***In the host state in the home Dashboard, there is some color code "Green - Red - Grey", can you explain the difference of these color code.

Thank you very much for your help,

Cordially
Eric

Hi,
Hope you are having a good day!!

1***We are faced with a dilemma, how to receive alerts ? when NRDS agents are no longer reachable or the agent itself cannot reach the Nagios XI server.

The NRDS client runs on a cron job at an interval specified by the administrator at install time. You can add a "Ping" service check for that agent.

Please see KB article below:

3***In the host state in the home Dashboard, there is some color code "Green - Red - Grey", can you explain the difference of these color code.

OK {color:green;}.WARNING {color:yellow;}.UNKNOWN {color:orange}.CRITICAL {color:red}

Best Regards,
