Hi Support Team,

Need your help to monitor Fortigate VPN through Nagios XI monitoring tool as customer requested below.

Important: We are using mode gearman concept for client devices monitoring through Nagios XI and we are using probe server(gearman worker server ) for data collecting from customer target devices and send data to Nagios XI server. As devices do not accessible directly through Nagios XI server.

Is there any feasibility in Nagios xi monitoring tool which we can monitor below requested parameter for VPN through Mod-Gearman as devices is not accessible directly through Nagios XI server

The objective would be monitor the below parameters for all/each of the VPN connections from On-Prem FG-FW to Azure VPN –
1. VPN BW
2. VPN In/Out consumption
3. VPN Errors/Discards
4. VPN Traffic/packet drops
5. VPN Reset
6. VPN SA status
7. VPN Top 10 Talkers – BW/Sessions

Alerts –
1. 85% Consumption
2. 90% Consumption
3. Errors > 2%
4. Drops > 2%
5. Reset.
6. VPN disconnection
