Replacement Operating System for CentOS

Dear Support,

As the CentOS Operating System is now being considered as dead and CentOS 8 will reach end of life at the end of 2021, we cannot propose CentOS to our customers as the Operating system to go with Nagios XI from now on. With AlmaLinux being branded as a replacement for CentOS, will Nagios be supporting if we use Nagios XI on this Operating System?

Thanks.

Hi

To date, a hard decision hasn't been made yet. I know some customers have moved to Ubuntu,
that's an option and fully supported. As far as the OVA goes, that's still on Cent 7 but will likely
be moved to another OS (maybe Ubuntu) later this year.

Thanks
