Hi,

Can you please help us with the below query?

We have 2 NagiosXI systems, one for LIVE and one for DRS and both have the same configuration. As the both systems are active and have same configurations both sending email notifications. We only want to receive alerts for LIVE nagiosxi.

Are there any options available?

what are best practices for managing Active and passive NagiosXI systems?

Yes, you will need to go to Admin > Monitoring Engine Status:
- Disable Notifications
- Disable Active/Passive Checks

You will need two XI licenses if you plan to run DRS in checking/notifying mode to be within the license entitlements:

Thanks for the update.

We only want one node active at any given time and we will only activate backup/passive node if there is an issue with active node.
