Dear Expert
NagiosXi 5.2.x
Centos 6.x.x
when we started Nagios in Year-2013, when we added devices (HOSTs), i found now that
Manage Template is = generic_host
define host {
host_name my-old-host-1
use generic-host
and what i observed that when this HOST goes down, not showing alert in OPERATIONS CENTERS
some new we adding, showing as below and some i replaced "generic-host" to "xiwizard_switch_host"
define host {
host_name my-new-host-2
use xiwizard_switch_host
as many host , many many host never down, and me OFF duty, unable to say with 100% surety ..... but in general i found that if Host added with Manage Template : generic-host, not showing DOWN in Home Operations Centers
is there any quick way to fix this issue or any quick way to replace : Manage-Template = generic-host to xiwizard_switch_host ?
regards
